If you’ve read my first blog post you’ll know I’m going to be going to a charity event this Sunday. The host, Miss Universe Canada 2017 Delegate Erin Chapman, has graciously allowed me to do a write up on her final charity event in order to get my blog up and running. Her FABULOUS Luncheon will feature a fashion show and silent auction, and the proceeds will be going to Operation Smile. This charitable organization performs surgeries for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lips/palates. Tickets are still available online (click here!) or at the door and are only $30. I’ve managed to learn about some of the silent auction items and there’s some fantastic items to bid on that have been donated by local businesses and artists. I’m also really looking forward to the fashion show as Erin models in her spare time and has recruited some truly fabulous people. And, of course, there will be food! I know it’s last minute, but if you’re free this Sunday this is an event I would certainly recommend. My write up for the event and mini interview with Erin will be up on the blog later on Sunday.
