At most of the events I attend, in addition to selling my books, I also sell secondhand books that have been purged from the collections of avid readers.

The cost for all of the secondhand books is “Pay what you can” with a $1 minimum per book. All proceeds from these books go to the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue. At certain, select events, the proceeds from The Purge are donated to other deserving charities.

Keep an eye on my social media – after each event, I post how much The Purge raised. Here are the fundraising stats so far:
