The End Of Tarot Check-Ins. Or Is It The Beginning?

That’s it. I’ve had another birthday, so last year’s tarot reading is over. But that just means I got to do a whole new birthday reading this year! Although I won’t be sharing the results of my newest tarot reading until tomorrow, that’s just fine because I still have to close off last years. Not only is it time to check-in to see how accurate the prediction was for the month of January, but it’s also time to have a look at the clarifying card. Two check-ins for one month?! I can’t wait to see how this goes.

Let’s remind ourselves of those predictions:

January: Queen of Chalices – Hermione: This card mentions fairness, honesty, practicality, kindness, joy, passion, and pride. It also represents the maternal and the artistic, as well as the ideal of womanhood.

Clarifying Card: X of Chalices (Reversed): Happiness may be short lived. Emotional upheavals could surface. And there could be an over indulgence in emotion.

How accurate was January’s prediction?

Somewhat accurate.

And how accurate was the clarifying card?

Very.

Let’s break this down.

While I’m not too sure how my personal version of ideal womanhood plays into how January played out for me, there was a focus on the artistic for me. Between my second short story collection getting published and starting a part-time receptionist job at a tattoo studio, I think it’s safe to say that the past month was very artistic. In terms of the other key words mentioned it’s a pretty wide spread of positive terms, so it’s no surprise that I experienced all of them in some degree throughout the month. I think what it boils down to is that the prediction was for a predominantly positive January, and that’s what I got.

Now, I mentioned last year that I felt like the clarifying card was roasting me because the emotional aspects associated with the card are nothing new for me. Yes, I had emotional upheavals and over indulgences – that’s just who I am as a person. And happiness was short lived for a number of major personal moments over the past year. But 2021 wasn’t a bad year for me. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t awful. Still, I’m hoping for a much more optimistic prediction when it comes to the clarifying card of my 2022 reading.

So tune in tomorrow (same bat time, same bat channel) and let’s have a look at what 2022 might have in store for me. Will it be *My Year*? Who knows?
